Some people find their way to finance through textbooks. Jamieson Boulanger found his through professional baseball.
Jamieson’s journey started in 2001, he was drafted by the Montreal Expos, after a shoulder injury ended his professional career abruptly that most athletes spend their entire careers chasing. What followed wasn’t a storybook career. It was something more valuable : a lesson in resilience, discipline and the ability to perform under pressure. The kind of lesson you don’t forget.
After his return to his studies at university, he carried that same mentality with him. The willingness to prepare obsessively. The composure to stay the course when markets are volatile. The drive to keep improving, for himself, and for the people counting on him.
He joined Manulife Wealth Inc. in 2007.
